  • Fancy Signup Buttons
Besides inserting a YMLP-powered form or a link to a YMLP-hosted form to your website, you can now also generate an eye-catching “Signup” button to add to your site or blog.
These buttons are a great alternative for sites where the YMLP-powered forms may not work properly, like MySpace pages.
To create your button, choose “Website Forms” in the menu on the left in your account, then click “Add Form to Your Site”.

  • Show off your readership with a subscriber count chiclet
If you have a popular newsletter with lots of readers, you might as well show it to the world: people will be more eager to give you their email address if so many others already did before.
To add a chiclet to your form, choose “Website Forms” in the menu on the left in your account, click “Edit Form” next to your form and select the “Add a subscriber count chiclet” option on the following page.

For newsletters mailed after June 1, not only are we recording how often your messages were opened but also…

  • WHERE they were opened. An amazing world “heatmap” will give you insight into the geographical impact of your email newsletter.
  • WHICH EMAIL PROGRAMS were used. A fancy pie chart will show you which email programs your contacts are using - invaluable information to effectively test your e-mail designs.

To view these brand new reports, click on the subject of your newsletter in the “Archive & Reporting” section, scroll down to the tracking report and select your graph from the “More Graphs” drop-down list.

  • Commissions are paid out every month through PayPal
  • Low Minimum Pay-out: $5

Referral Program:

Choose “Referral Program” in the menu on the left on your account, pick up your promo code and pass it out to friends and colleagues.

Now you can insert an automated Forward to a Friend link to your emails to increase the “viral” impact of your emails:

When your contacts click on this link, they’ll go to a form where they can enter the names and email addresses of those friends to whom they’d like to forward it. They can also add a personal note.
A fresh copy of your email will be sent with their name as From: address (in contrast to the Forward button in email programs, the original design of your email will be retained). A prominent sign up link for your email list can also be included in the forwarded copy of your email, if desired.

How to Insert a Forward to a Friend link ?

  • If you’re using the WYSIWYG editor or Email Newsletter Builder:
Choose “Forward to a Friend Link” in the “Insert…” drop down in the toolbar.

  • If you’re uploading your own HTML files.
You can use a link with [FORWARDTOFRIEND] as href.
    Example: <a href=[FORWARDTOFRIEND]>Forward</a>

How to Configure this Feature?

Choose “Forward to a Friend” under the “Configuration” header in your account to tune various aspects, such as: the lay-out of the Forward to a Friend form; the signup page to which the “Sign Up” link in the forwarded emails should link; or the subject line prefix for forwarded emails.

Reporting?

We’ll record the number of forwards and display them in the Reporting section, next to the open and click-through reporting.
